Individual Tests
- C-Reactive Protein - This test measures C Reactive Protein, a protein marker of inflammation that correlates to one's risk for cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
- Cholesterol Panel - The Cholesterol Panel measures the risk for cardiovascular disease and includes total cholesterol, HDL, and LDL. Results are most reliable when measured after fasting overnight.
- Complete Blood Count - The Complete Blood Count Test is used to determine your red blood (carries oxygen) and white blood (fights infection) cell counts.
- Diabetic Panel - The Diabetic Panel includes the following tests:
- Blood Glucose
- Liver/Kidney
- Hemoglobin A1C
- Glucose Screen - The Glucose screen is used to determine and monitor diabetes.
- Heart Health Panel - The Heart Health Panel includes:
- Cholesterol Profile
- Blood Glucose
- Liver and Kidney Screening Panel
- Complete Blood Count
- Thyroid Screen
- C Reactive Protein
- Homocysteine
- Hemoglobin A1C - Hemoglobin A1c is a test that is used to measure the effectiveness of glucose control in diabetics.
- Hepatitis Panel - The Hepatitis Panel screens for Hepatitis A, B, and C.
- Homocysteine - The Homocysteine Screen detects elevated levels of homocysteine which has been shown to correlate with the risk of cardiovascular disease.
- Liver/Kidney Panel - The Liver Screen includes 6 biomarkers that correspond to healthy liver, bile duct and gallbladder function. These include:
- Alkaline phosphatase (ALP)
- Alanine aminotransferase (ALT)
- Aspartate aminotransferase (AST)
- Total Biliruben
- Total protein
- Albumin
- The kidney filters our blood, maintains fluid balance, and manages electrolytes (such as salt). The Kidney Screen measures the following:
- Sodium
- Potassium
- Chloride
- Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN)
- Creatinine (CR)
- Bicarb
- Calcium
- Glucose
- Mononucleosis Test - The Mononucleosis Test is used to determine if your decreased energy and appetite, fever, sore throat, or swollen lymph nodes of the neck are caused by Mononucleosis.
- Pregnancy Test - The Pregnancy Test determines early levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) that rise when pregnant. This is a urine test and is most accurate a few days after a missed menstrual cycle.
- PSA - The prostate specific antigen (PSA) is a protein that is produced in the prostate gland and is normally found in small amounts in the blood. It is a useful screening test for prostate cancer because it is commonly elevated when prostate cancer is present. Men over 50 should have this test annually.
- Strep Test - The Strep Test is used to determine if your sore throat is caused by a bacterial infection (strep).
- Testosterone - The Testosterone Test is used to measure the level of testosterone in the blood. Testosterone levels are important because low levels can be associated with osteoporosis, depression, ED, and loss of muscle mass and strength.
- Thyroid Panel - The Thyroid Panel measures the function of the thyroid gland.
- Urinalysis - The Urinalysis Test is a group of urine tests used to confirm urinary infections, and to identify a number of medical diagnoses.
- VAP Cholesterol Panel - The VAP Cholesterol Test is an advanced and accurate measurement of cholesterol and its sub-components. VAP stands for Vertical Auto Profile. This test improves the accuracy of cholesterol testing and identifies risk for a significant number of people whose conventional cholesterol profile may appear normal.
